Mountain views of Peru

It took 16 hours to travel back to Lima from Andahuaylas due to havine to stop every two hours for dog walks. It was worth stopping so that we never had to clean up the dog cage in the van. It was the first time for our dog to see snow and to travel over mountain heights of 16,000 feet and than back down to sea level in Lima. We were each able to make the adjustments.
Jon has experienced each of the three parts of Peru (desert cities, mountain towns, and jungle villages). Each part has its positive and negatives and Jon could see us living in each. One of the positives of the mountains is its natural beauty. Below are some pictures from on our trip.

Our trip contained snow storms, rain, sleet, hail, sun, fog, and wind but God gave us safety through it all. We were able to drive all the way back without any toll booths open or any police stops which is a miracle in and of itself.
