EFATA and the Ricker Family

Our first year in Peru was spent receiving Spanish training in a ministry called EFATA. This ministry is in the southern part of Lima called Villa El Salvador. It has been a blessing to see what God is doing in this ministry specifically with the deaf of Peru. We have some friends from this ministry that we still enjoy fellowshipping and getting advice.

We spent some time, during our American Labor Day, to celebrate with the Ricker Family. What a great day of fellowship with food, games, and activities.

Each of the children took a turn with the motion sensor piano. It plays as you waive your hands at it.

Statues and murals of different presidents were at the Mall for pictures.
